A cryptocurrency (or crypto currency) is a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange that uses cryptography to secure its transactions, to control the creation of additional units, and to verify the transfer of assets.Cryptocurrencies are classified as a subset ofdigital currencies and are also classified as a subset of alternative currencies and virtual currencie.
Bitcoin is an example of the various cryptos (cryptocurrencies ), it was released as open source software in 2009.
Note: this article it not about narrating the history of the cryptos, rather it is to activate the consciousness of the very few privileged ones towards the need to focus on the opportunities that dealing in cryptos offer.
